How to survive exams!
Tick… Tick… The clock’s ticking. Exams are almost here and usually this is the time when most of us start to panic. Well , the newsflash of the day is that exams can’t be avoided. So if you can’t avoid it, you’re going to have to survive it..

Here are a few tips on how to do it..

1.   Have faith.
It’s just another exam and you are going to give your best. Have the confidence that you can
do it. Trust yourself and set the sail.

2.   Organize.
Make sure you have got everything that you need right around your study space. Avoid getting up frequently. Maintain the flow of your study.

3.   Make a Time-Table.
When you know what to study and when to study, its less trouble.  Have a time-table with you and studying becomes easier.

4.   Take breaks.
You must be a lot of things but I am sure a robot isn’t one of them. It’s impossible to keep staring at the books continuously. Take a break of 15 minutes every 2 hours or so. Eat something light. Take a walk. Give your brain the time to refresh.

5.   Sleep.
Sleeping is an amazing exercise. You can concentrate better, you’ll remember things clearly and you’ll be in a great mood. An added benefit to this is that if you sleep on a problem, your brain still looks for an answer. Even if you don’t get an answer, you’ll wake up afresh to look at the problem from a new angle.

6.   Plan Ahead.
Always create a study plan. Choose the easy topics and finish them first so you can give proper time to the difficult ones. Make daily agendas and complete them. This way, you can be ready for the big day.

7.    Don’t Cram.
Stuffing your head with things is useless. It confuses you and wastes your time. Try to understand things. Try memorizing things by connecting them to other things.

8.   Make Notes.
Make notes for whatever you study. They’ll help you in revising the next time you touch the topic. They are also useful for last minute revisions.

9.   Revise.
Revision is crucial. You can’t waste time on the same topic twice. Revision takes just a few minutes and with every revision, the topic gets cemented in your brain.

10. Plan for the Big Day.
Be ready for the exam day with all of your stuff. Read all the rules of the exam. Make sure you know your exam centre and reach there before time. Keep your entrance card with you. Wish yourself good luck and do it.
