AMU B.Tech Selection Process

The Selection Process for these courses is through the Admission Test /Entrance Examination.

AMU B.Tech Test Paper /Exam Pattern

For B.TECH ONLY Applicants, there shall be an Objective Type Examination comprising of 150 questions, each carrying 150 marks. The questions will be on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

For B.TECH & B.ARCH Applicants, there shall be two Exam Papers. First paper will be common with the B.TECH Only TEST. The Second paper will be for B.Arch.

The Paper-2, will be the Architecture Aptitude Test. This Test consists of some Descriptive Questions and test on drawing skills of the candidates. A minimum of 40% marks are mandatory to be scored in this test to become eligible for Admissions.

*You will not be provided with the Drawing Material (Pencils, Sketch Pens, etc) for the Test. It is strictly advised that all the applicants must carry their own Drawing Accessories.

AMU B.Tech Qualifying Examination

The Qualifying Examination for both the courses is same:

Either Class 12/SSSC from any recongnized University/Board with minimum 50% Marks in average of Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English; or any equivalent examination.

Or, Diploma in Engineering from AMU with 50% Average Marks.
